Cranberry Apple Kugel

Time to Prepare: 20 minutes Cook Time: 30 minutes Serving: 6 People


1 can cranberry (whole berry) sauce 1 can apple pie filling 1 teaspoon cinnamon ½ teaspoon baking powder 1 cup quaker oats ½ cup flour ⅔ cups brown sugar ½ cup melted margarine Cooking Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.

  2. In a medium bowl mix the cranberry sauce and apple pie filling together.

  3. In another mixing bowl, add the flour, Quaker oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, baking powder and melted margarine. Mix until crumbly.

  4. Spray a 9 inch round pie plate with baking spray and place half of the crumbly mixture. Add the cranberry and apple mixture. Top with the remaining half of the crumbly mixture.

  5. Bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown.

  6. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.


If you would like to have more of the crumbly crust, you can double the recipe and use more on the bottom and top.
